Write Up:What a great day to hike to the saddle. Conditions were crisp to begin
with but the day was calm so no wind chill thankfully! We broke trail
after we left the campground road but the snow was fairly light and not
too deep so it was easily managed with spikes. We all agreed not to take
on the final scramble section as it was corniced in spots and fairly
drifted over.
Thanks all who joined the hike! It was nice to get this one in before
the winter gate closure.
