Itinerary:

Lets get this one in before the winter gates close! We will hike through the campground before picking up the trail of moderately graded switchbacks leading to beautiful open meadows (may be snow covered at this time of year). We then ascend steeper slopes up to the saddle of the ridge where we will enjoy views of Little Elbow valley and the front ranges of the Rocky Mountains. Expect to be on trail 3-4 hours including breaks.

Required Items to Bring:
Everything you need for a full day out on the trail. Spikes, at least 1 Litre of water, warm layers and bear spray

From Bragg Creek head west on Highway 66 to the end of the paved road, make a left and continue past Forgetmenot pond to the Little Elbow Provincial Recreation area parking lot.
