Write Up:Hard to believe that it's November at times in our beautiful backyard. We did the trail as an end to end hike with a short car shuttle in between. The trail up to the Three Trail junction was totally dry. Not long after turning onto the main Powderface trail we had to don our microspikes and kept them on until well down the other side of the ridge. We lucked out with the weather again as the forecasted high winds didn't materialise, at least not until we were off the ridge. Bonus was seeing the wild horses by the roadside, one on the way in and another four as we drove home.
Stats were 8.6km with 440m of cumulative elevation.
Thanks to my hiking buddies as always and also to those who did the car shuttle duties.
