Itinerary:
Let's hike Powderface Ridge starting at the Three Pass Trailhead and ending at the main Powderface Ridge trailhead. The elevation seems ominous but is probably only around 350m to the high point and the rest is ruffles along the way ;-) There have been some trail improvements on the descent so let's see what has been done. Trail conditions will probably be a mix of dry trail with snowy/icy sections but that may change before Thursday. Estimated time on trail including breaks will be 4 to 4 1/2 hours. This hike will require a short car shuttle 5.5km up the gravel road so let's all meet at the end of the paved highway 66/start of the gravel road at 9.45am.

Required Items to Bring:
Kananaskis Conservation Pass. Microspikes - no 'city' spikes allowed.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
A hot drink for lunchtime. Hiking poles
