This is a moderate hike for the first 5.2km before a steep 1.1km on mostly well graded switchbacks to a beautiful lake nestled below Mount Rowe. There is a short side trip to the middle or 'little sister' lake with a viewpoint down to the lower Rowe lake 200m below. We had the whole lake to ourselves and only met others coming up as we descended back to the meadow below Lineham Ridge.
