Write Up:It was a lovely sunny blue sky day as we got to the high point on Carry
Ridge where we could see the fog rolling over John Ware Ridge. Before
long we had lost our blue sky and it was darn chilly. We descended to
the valley where we enjoyed lunch, and muffins from Eileen - thank you.
The snow had accumulated in the valley bottom so the team where glad
that one of us was out front breaking trail with snowshoes on ;-) We
then ascended Muley ridge and imagined the lovely views from the top
before heading back to the trailhead.
This is a great shoulder season or winter hike not far from the city
which can be as long or as short as you want to make it.
