Write Up:We had a lovely hike up to a very full and loud Ribbon Falls!
Our start temperature was ideal for hiking although it obviously
heated up as the day went on.
We had the falls to ourselves for at least 30 minutes at lunchtime
which was an unexpected treat.
Hardly anyone on our way up, just backpackers coming down, and in the
afternoon lots of backpackers heading up the trail.
So many little cascades along a very full Ribbon Creek enticed us in
to cool off our hot feet on our descent - the wet spring and late snow
melt has meant that there is more water in the creek than normal for
this time of year.
Watermelon slices at the end of the hike were very refreshing!
