Write Up:The five of us started the hike at 8:45 am. The hike to Forum Lake
was relaxing and a time to enjoy the fall colours. After a short
break at the lake we proceeded to the initial slope, to begin the
ascent of the rock wall. Once on the first part of the ridge, winds
felt much stronger and forced us to our knees. A decision was made
to not proceed and to return the way we had come. Knowing Akamina
Ridge is an amazing ridge walk with outstanding views we told the
ridge we will return.
