Cool weather to start but sun turned it into an ideal hiking morning. The police half Marathon did make some challenges for participants reaching the start point but they worked around it with amazing good humor. Everyone seemed to enjoy seeing sites that are not in their usual part of the city. Another year, I would suggest avoiding the same day as the marathon, even though it was not a huge inconvenience.
