Write Up:
An interesting hike to say the least. Although the weather was cloudy, the only real precipitation we encountered was a few snowflakes higher up. We never did make it to the top as the trail conditions worsened near the top. The paths became too icy and slippery to advance further. After a lunch break taken at the scenic viewpoint of the Elbow Valley, we discovered that a few ticks had attempted to hitch a ride with us. A warning to all that ticks are alreay out in full force this year!
