Write Up:
It was a cool sunny but very blustery morning for our first city hike of the season. Many of us dressed in layers as if we were on a ski trip vs a hike!! We altered the original trip plan to angle (wherever we could) our path away from the very strong cold west winds. Took a shorter snack break because of the chilly conditions. Saw 4 white-tail deer leaping in the wooded area near the gravel pit. Back at 64th parking lot at 11:15.
