Write Up:
Most of the trail up to Grass Pass was free of snow except for the last half km which had a couple inches of snow on top of the mud. After turning left and going up to the ridge there was 6 to 10 inches of snow. At the top we stayed on the left side of the ridge and hiked north thru about 6 inches of snow. We dropped down to Gunnery Creek and continued for about 1 km before the snow ran out. The rest of the trail was just fine. Total time was 4.25 hours.
