Write Up:This is the one back-country trip of a life-time. Travel by
helicopter to the Durrand Glacier Lodge at 1946 metres. From there,
hike through swiss meadows, pass spectacular glaciers, scramble up
rock ledges, climb over boulders, drink from pure mountain lakes and
streams. The lodging is simple and sufficient. The food is lovingly
prepared by an Austrian chef. The guides are energetic, fun and
attentive. Add to all this a wonderful group of seven weekend hiker
members, five guests and a family of goats and you have the perfect
three-day hiking experience! Do it while you have the health as you
will not regret this experience!
