Well the Merlin View Loop hike turned out much better than expected. By the time we arrived at West Bragg Creek, put on all our rain gear and just started out; the rain stopped and we did not see any more rain all day. We soon had the rain gear off. The new Merlin View Trail was a bit wet in a few places but no mud holes and soon started to dry out. The last bridge has been completed. If the cloud cover was a bit higher we would have had much better views. It will be worth doing on a sunny day. The hike took 4.5 hours in total. Terry W
