Write Up:
We had an outstanding day and the weather was pleasant with our group of nine. Our combination of hikers included 1) Dad and daughter 2) three new hikers to the club 3) a guest on the waiting list to join the club 4) the rest of us. We traveled up to the pass with a distance of 4.3 km and 406 m in elevation. Then we moved toward the left up a steep climb to the first and second peak and then 7 of us went up the tower ( third peak). This involved some scrambling and team work and we celebrated on top. Next time, I would suggest leaving packs and poles at bottom of the tower. The distance to the tower from the pass is 0.7 km. The total distance for the day is 10.2 km and 680 m.
