Write Up:
We took the route that climbs the grassy slope just before the cairn (where the trail goes into the trees) to the Ridge, giving a new approach for this group to the lunch spot. The return trip was on the traditional trail, making it an interesting loop for that part of the hike. Two hikers were new members in the Club this year. Good team spirit and a great day!
