Write Up:
Despite the forecast for rainy weather, we had very little precipitation on this hike--a light sprinkle as we left the trailhead--lasted about 15 minutes and then no further showers till the end of the trip, when we encountered some heavy mist. Seven hikers had a great day! We weren't sure if we found Daffern's new trail, but we followed a cut line that joined the the trail ascending Mount Burke and totally avoided the ravaged creek.
