Write Up:
The weather was beautiful for our hike - blue skies and a calm green Lake Minnewanka were admired on our way into the first campsite. There is a new bridge built over the flood damage as we approached the campsite. There were many bikes on the trail. This trail is to be closed to riders for two months and the closure was to be in effect the day following our hike. On our return hike, some of our group struggled with the heat. Thank you to George Day and Jiri Bartek who helped us "save the day"!
