Write Up:
In spite of the snow falling quite heavily at the start of our walk, and a rain/snow mix for a lot of the rest of it, we did manage to walk to the Silver Springs ponds (below Silver Springs Blvd) and return. We were rewarded by seeing several clumps of hardy crocuses trying to prove it really is Spring. Thanks to all the participants who came out in less than ideal Spring conditions at around 0 C.
