Write Up:
There were 17 hikers - another member (Carole Atkinson) who was familiar with the trail co- lead. We divided the group into those who wanted to hike at faster pace and get to Barrier Lake Lookout (12), and those who wanted a slower pace and only wanted to go to the Prairie View Lookout (5). It worked very well - we all ended up back at the trailhead at the same time. We agreed this was a good approach and plan to handle future hikes similarly.
