A beautiful day. 15 of us ventured out in 31 degrees. The trail has enough trees to make the heat bearable. The flowers were astounding with a couple of unusual orchids in some shady areas. One hiker had a GPS and it showed 4.4 km to the ridge and an elevation of 440 meters which is less than what the club's information shows. Elke S
