Beautiful fall day. This was an exploratory hike. Met up at Tuscany Shopping Centre then drove to Tuscany Hills Way entry to the trail steps (with a sculpture of a buffalo nearby) leading to the lovely wooded ravine. We found a well defined dirt trail after about 2km in the ravine up to the City pathway system asphalt trail around the Tuscany district. We proceeded west on the asphalt trail that passed by many lovely backyard gardens. At the 4 lane Tuscany Hill Drive we went down a grassy trail , crossed Tuscany Hill Drive and joined the path around Tuscany Estates to just about the end where it meets Lynx Ridge Golf Course. Had lunch on the grassy hill overlooking the valley, then returned the same way on the pathway system but not the ravine. Total trip distance this way was about 11km. If you came back through the ravine it would add about a kilometre or so. A lovely trail
