Write Up:
We enjoyed a beautiful day at Cross Conservation. Weather was perfect for hiking. We split the large group into two smaller groups. Thanks to George Day for volunteering to lead one of the groups. We had been forewarned that cougars had been spotted in the area but neither group reported seeing any. This will be a beautiful place to come in a couple of weeks to enjoy the brilliant fall colors.
