Write Up:
The weather was sunny in the mid to high 20s all day. This is a spectacular hike. We climbed 1200 meters over 5.6 Kms. We had views of the Asulkan Valley all the way above the tree line. Perley Rock came into and out of view ahead of us as we switched back. We crossed many streams and had to fill up as some needed more water. We were on the trail for 8 hours as we were coming down "ball bearings" terrain on steep switchbacks. The view from Perley Rock of Illecillewaet Glacier was memorable.
