Write Up:
Four of us enjoyed a leisurely walk to Wapta Falls on the first day of the Yoho overnight trip. The trail is a flat forest walk with a steep descent to the base of the falls. We spent some time exploring the area at the base of the falls and stopped to admire the views while having a snack. The stats were 5.6km and 133m elevation loss/gain. Thanks to Shelley, Julia and Nancy for joining me, Nona, on this beautiful sunny day.
