Write Up:
Five keen hikers joined Kate to make 6 on this 7 km, 218 meter hike. We took the Old Mill East Trail clock-wise to Pine Hill trail, circling up to the look-out. We took a nice-steady pace which allowed us to look at spring flowers, the forest and views! We stopped at the look-off for lunch and had great views to the west – the sun was out and clouds here and there, framing the mountains. Fortunately all the rain that fell the day before was drying up along the trail as we were hiking. We were back to our cars (and a very full parking lot, as it was holiday Monday) by 1 pm – 2:41 moving time.
