Write Up:
Wonderful hike. Good weather. Beautiful colours of lush green new growth and fireweed. Jane commented that it was “like walking into a dream”. Amazing views as it is more open, due to the burned forest. The dead trees were works of art with colours of stark white, black and silver. We saw hummingbirds in the trees. Enjoyed lunch at the lake, not too busy. More people coming in as we left. Great comraderie.
