Thank all 22 of you for signing up. Unfortunately the trip did not go as planned as the accommodation where most of us were staying i.e. Blue Sky motel in Longview got cancelled due to the sale of the motel. So driving long distances each day from Calgary ( ie 300 km ) made doing all three days onerous. Also there were a few injuries ( myself included) which ruled out even a single day trip. Hot weather, smoke and a rain forecast for the Sunday were other issues. Oh well, there is always next year. Feedback from the participants who did hike confirmed this is a beautiful area so I will be planning a repeat for next year .
