Write Up:
This hike was rescheduled from a week earlier, when the temperature was 35. Today the weather was perfect, 22 and partly cloudy, with a little mud on the trail, but not bad. (The south side is more prone to standing water).
The only problem was an unanticipated medical issue with a VERY experienced hiker. The pace of the hike was slowed down considerably to allow the hiker to make it to the end. In hindsight, he should have stopped at one of the several short-cuts or exit points on this hike, but in the end, everyone made the complete circuit, and the slow pace was not a problem.
