Was a cooler day which was ideal for the Crypt Lake hike. We took the 9:00 boat to Crypt Landing and started on the trail. We munched on berries all the way up to the top. Different berries were available at different elevations – from gooseberries, thimble berries, raspberries, blueberries and Saskatoon berries. It was a little crowded at the tunnel and exposed area when we arrived. We finally arrived at the lake and enjoyed lunch. We returned to the boat launch at 5:00 in plenty of time to catch it. We had a very successful hiking day, followed by a deluxe social and BBQ hosted by Karen and Larry Fisher - A most fitting end to the day!
