Write Up:
We had a great day exploring Upper Canyon Creek and Bryant Lake. Lots of changing scenery and conditions underfoot from rocky creek bed to lovely soft forest trail to an open grassy bench and a very pretty lake in a stark cirque. The plan is to return next year to check out what it's like in flower season - there were a great variety of mushrooms at this time of year though. Total distance 16.4km and 620m elevation (510 on the way in, 110 on the return) Total time 6 hours with approx 4 hr 45 moving.
