The weather forecast was wrong---AGAIN. In spite of the storm that burst upon us from the direction of, you guessed it, Storm Mountain, it was one of the most enjoyable ridge walk we have experienced. We went as far as the deep descent between the Middle and North Summit. It took us 7 hours and another time we will leave VR earlier (say 7 a.m. ) so that we can make it to the North Summit. Although return by Rickert's Pass along Mist Creek is an option, we did not think it was a great one considering the incredible views we get going in and out on the ridge. Definitely a keeper!
