Write Up:
After a few sprinkles on the way up to Chester Lake we had a dry day on the trail. Got as far as the second lake in the 3 Lakes Valley before turning back due to large patches of snow and a very chilly wind. Lunch was then enjoyed above the first lake with dessert at the Elephant Rocks. Some glacier lilies and a very photogenic marmot added to the day's enjoyment.
