Write Up:
We had a delightful hike for Canada Day. The weather was ideal and very few people were on the trail. The hikers were fit and we moved at a good pace. Stopped for a quick lunch at the viewpoint with the cross. We travelled 12.5 km and elected to skip the Sulphur Springs section and extended the Elbow Valley trail. We completed the hike by 1:30 pm and were back to town prior to the heavy traffic as a result of the holiday weekend.
