Write Up:
Twelve happy hikers, including two new members enjoyed a hike of 12.3km and 400m elevation gain (cumulative) on the Fullerton Loop, Bobcat, Strange Brew and Sugar Daddy trails. The start of the trail was icy, and we also had fresh snow from the day before on the whole loop which made for some pretty scenery. We did start out wearing our traction devices but most of us gave up on them pretty quickly as the warming temps led to the snow balling up under our feet. The final part of the trail back to the cars was turning into a mud bath by early afternoon.
