Write Up:
It was a beautiful blue sky day for our hike up to the saddle on Nihahi Ridge - and, for once, not a howling gale at the top. In fact it was so nice that we lingered over lunch and contemplated a siesta in the sun. Trail conditions were overall dry with just the odd patches of mud and ice.
