Hard to believe that we wore snowshoes the first week of October but we certainly needed them as only one person had been out ahead of us. It was a beautiful sunny day with hardly a soul around. We did come across quite a few cattle though - one of which was very interested in those funny human beings with tennis rackets on their feet! ;-)
