Write Up:
We finally made to Rummel Lake and on to the pass on a beautiful bluebird sky day but, oh boy, was it hot! For once the cool breeze at the pass was most welcome as we lingered over lunch and checked out the Rocky mountain sheep cooling their hooves on a snow patch far below. Flowers weren't quite at their peak but still put on a colourful show for us.
