Write Up:
The Big Hill Springs portion of the hike was only two kms so we had to extend the hike. I was advised by several people on the hike that we could enter into a closed off area as long as we stayed on the road which lead to Cochrane. So, we shimmed under the fence and walked another 1.5 kms into that area for a total of 5 kms. While this isn't something I would recommend doing, it was a very pleasant walk along the road path and I am glad to have had that opportunity.
