An eleventh hour change of plan due to the wildfire in the Elbow Valley on Sunday led the same 12 hikers to check out the Heart Creek trails on Monday. On a scorching hot day the coolness of the Cold War Bunker was very welcome as was the chance to dip our feet in Heart Creek at the top end of the interpretative trail. A total of 9km and 555m cumulative elevation gain with lots of ups and downs on both trails.
