Write Up:
What an outstanding day for this hike: temperatures in the low +20's, sunshine and gentle breezes. We took the east 12Mile Coulee south trail, finding it dry and in good condition. Later after our steep ascent and walking for about a kilometre on the upper asphalt city path, by popular vote we decided to turn around and return through the ravine again but this time on the lower more shaded trail as it was getting hot.
