Six ladies enjoyed a great day out in the Elbow Valley. The weather forecast was wrong so the only rain we saw was from the car as we drove out from the city in the morning. Sunshine, blue skies, a bit of cloud but warm - in fact so warm that some of us cooled off our feet in the Elbow River in the afternoon. Trail conditions were mainly dry with just a couple of spots of snow, and some muddy areas close to the river. We saw wildlife consisting of a ladybug, a huge raven, a squirrel and four healthy looking deer. And for the flower lovers a few prairie crocuses. :-)
