Write Up:
The trail had been used during the winter so there was a hard packed trail we could follow. There was a bit of post-holing, but because the ground was quite cold all day long, it was minimal. The ridge at the top beyond the first cairn was very snowy and we kept going through the deep hard crusted snow for awhile, but turned back without getting to the second cairn. It took us about 5 hours about the same amount of time it usually takes and once the sun came out, the scenery was quite stunning. Had a great day!
