Beautiful hike. There was a snow on the ground for most of the route and , as expected it got deeper as we climbed. We expected some route finding on this hike, but the trail was very easy to find and follow. There were even bridges over the creek in two places which I had not read in any of the research I did prior to the hike. When we reached the second lake we had lunch and discussed if we should go up higher to the third lake. We decided the conditions, which had deteriorated, did not warrant the effort.
