we had great weather- Sunny with cloudy periods and a nice cool wind. it was interesting and surprising to see all the snow where the avalanche went down the trail sometime this spring just before the Guinns pass junction. Its a very good reminder to be aware of how far and over a slope of only maybe 30 degrees an avalanche can travel. They are continuing to do trail improvements on this very popular trail. Note that Lillian Galatea trail is open while Terrace trail is closed due to a mother bear and cub.
