Write Up:
We had a lovely hike. Just 7 of us, in the end. We only went as far as I had indicated on the website, which was far enough for some of us! Joanne very kindly alerted us, via phone-call to Judy when we were still at Bowcroft, that there was a major traffic jam on the #1, so we were able to use the back road via Cochrane. Meant we got there later than 10, but everyone was aware. The smoke bothered a couple of people at the beginning of the hike, but I guess they got used to it! Loads of people out there! Gerda can tell you about all the lovely flowers we saw! Judy's good at knowing their names, too. Ruth
