Eight of us had a wonderful hike to Rockbound Lake. Although we saw the smoke from the Verdant Creek fire around Sunshine Village on the drive to the trailhead we had a beautiful clear day on the trail and at the lake. Wildflowers in abundance added to the enjoyment.
