What a lovely summer solstice evening hike. A group of 10 of us walked up Fullerton to enjoy a quick view and trundled down again in just over 2 hours. The weather was EXCELLENT - NO WIND!! Some of us even stopped for a coffee at the end of the night. One reminder to everyone - ON ANY HIKE - we are all responsible for the safety of the group. Remember that we strive to hike with a minimum of 4 people in a grouping. Please remember to keep an eye out on slower members so they are not left behind - especially when outside of the city. THIS IS EVERYONE's responsibility - not just the leaders. We are in this together. We saw some wonderful flowers including the Western Wood Lilly and Wild Geraniums.
