Write Up:
We had to split the group after a while because the majority were fast hikers. The first 12 participants finished the race in 2 hours and 40 minutes (incl. a brief stop at the sailing school), taking a shortcut on Crowchild Trail and 66 Avenue. Kathy, Diane and Audrey hiked the full designated route and arrived at the parking lot not too long thereafter. The weather was just perfect for walking and the autumn colours were quite pretty.
