Write Up:
We started taking the wrong trail to do Heart Mountain in reverse. That took about one hour of our time but we saw it as an exploratory hike. On the right trail up we realized that it is just as difficult starting the hike in reverse. On top of the ridge we walked to the highest point where the second cairn is built. We encountered still some snow and lots of ticks. We returned the same way. We all had a great day and went home tired.
